How To Look Chic & Polished: Winter Edition

Let’s face it. Winter isn’t our best season. That urge to put on your old favorite sweatshirt, and bury your head underneath your warm blankets in the morning is out with a vengeance. And this is only the beginning of the season.

But there are still ways to look your best, even in the cold seasons, without breaking the bank.

The saying, “Look your best, feel your best”, isn’t just an old superstition:

Keep It Trimmed–

it’s such a small-detailed thing to think about, but your nails are one of the first few things that people notice in the first couple of seconds of meeting you. Keep them trimmed and polished for that chic look during the winter.

Sweater Weather–

Winter is the perfect season to bust out all of those cute but comfy sweaters. You can literally pair a sweater with anything: Jeans, skirt, slacks, there are almost an unlimited number of possibilities when it comes to this piece of fashion. Sweaters are such a winter staple that it even comes in the form of a dress–which, of course, I approve (:

3. Put A Blazer On It–

Blazers have never failed to take an outfit from drab to fab in a blink of an eye. Try to keep at least one of these staple pieces in your closet for those quick chic looks.

4. Keep Your Hair Styled–

Curl it, put it in a sleek bun (high or low), wear some cute braids, or wear it straight. If you’re like me and savor those last few minutes under those warm sheets in the mornings a little too long, you may not have a lot of time in the mornings to spend on your hair. The end goal is just to look as put together with as little effort as possible. Find your go-to polished hairstyle and slay, girl, slay!

5. Don’t Forget Your Smile–

Your best asset is your smile. Never forget it 😀

What are some of the things you guys do to look your best during the Winter?
